Dear S-L List subscribers:

Dennis Lawrence's recent listserv post (June 2002) requesting advice on
starting a service-learning program/project from scratch, elicited so many good
ideas that he archived the replies on his high school students' community
projects page on their website.

We wanted to make it easy for everyone to have access to these great ideas, so
now you can read the effective program practice, "Starting a high school
service-learning program" online at EpiCenter, the free online source for
effective practices submitted by national and community service members.
