I like the graduation pledge alliance very much and hope that we can start
applying a similar code throughout universities so that we can all set a
real example for students.
I would like to see the same code applied in the selection of university
trustees and for trustees to take the same oath as applied to their
activities as well as to university investments, purchases and relations
with workers.
I would like to see the same code applied to university administrators for
all funds that they accept for the university.
I would like to see the code applied for faculty for all research grants
and for their teaching and review of colleagues' work.
We can then begin to compile and publish lists of universities that follow
ethical principles and let applicants and members of the public know how
they all rate on these important dimensions.
Thanks for keeping ethics at the center of the educational mission.
