Greetings:
As a new member of this list, I have a rather simple question.
Several Twin Cities colleges and universities are creating a consortium for
action research. The consortium will work in partnership with the local
community to address community defined issues in need of research. Such a
consortium would provide community partners with the best combination of
resources from various disciplines, allow for one central clearinghouse for
resources and requests (physical and/or on-line location), and allow us to
build on the various community partnerships that each institution has
already developed.
Who is doing this sort of thing? Are there models of multi-institutional
groups from which we can learn?
