Application Assistance Conference Calls
In order to assist you with any questions regarding the Learn and Serve
America: Higher Education program application guidelines, the Corporation
for National Service will host a series of application assistance
conference calls twice a week, beginning on Wednesday, February 12. The
calls will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays, at 2:00 p.m. EST and will
last for one hour.
Hosted by a Learn and Serve America: Higher Education program officer,
these conference calls will give you the opportunity to ask specific
questions and learn from the questions of other participants. Please read
the application guidelines thoroughly before participating. The
application assistance calls are designed for those who are seriously
considering submitting an application. Up to 20 participants may register
for each call.
The calls are toll free, but you must register in advance. Registrants
will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Once registered, you
will be given a toll free number to call on the date that you select. You
will also be asked to summarize the general nature of your question at
that time to insure your questions are answered during the call. Due to
the competitive nature of the grant process the Corporation will be
unable to answer questions pertaining to the quality and/or
competitiveness of proposed activities.

The final scheduled call will be on Friday, March 14, 1997 at 2 p.m. and
will have a maximum of 30 participants.
