Hi! My name is Amanda Hathaway and I am a student at Providence College.
Presently, I am trying to coordinate a Tool Bank here on campus. The idea
behind a tool bank is to have a collection of tools (hammers, shovels,
paint, etc.) that is available to all organizations performing community
service in the area. The tools are available on a sign out basis and can be
used for various projects in the community.
I am writing to you to see if you have any feedback at all about the Tool
Bank. Do you know of any other similar organizations? If so, how do they
operate? Fundraising ideas? How might the tool bank interact with other off
campus organizations? I'd love to hear any thoughts or ideas that you may have!
