We at LINCS (Learning in Community Settings) at the University of
Richmond work with several community
agencies that are dedicated to improving the lives of children. We
assist them by offering tutors and technical assistace. To best meet their
needs, I am currently searching for purchasable literacy materials
such as up-to-date texts and/or subsriptions that discuss approaches for
teachers and tutors working with illiterate children.
I am also interested in useful resources concerning how tutors and
program leaders can overcome cross cultural barriers.
