Hi Deb,
I serve as an advisor to a local non-profit (www.computercorps.org) that
developed a volunteer management database for tracking volunteer time. They
have been discussing making it available to other NPOs and I am sure would
be interested in discussing it with you. The contact is Ron Norton and he
may be reached at (775)883-2323, or by email at
ron.norton@computercorps.net.

Subject: VOlunteer Database Software
Hello all,
We are looking at purchasing a packaged software program to assist us with
the
tracking of volunteers and hours and agencies, etc. I have not run across
any definitive evaluations of this sort of software at all. Can those of
you that
are using software and are happy with it let me know what it is and why it
works
for you? Or even if you bought software that you are unhappy with - that
would be also helpful to know.
I promise to compile responses and send to the list - as I know that
others may find this useful information as well.
Thank you in advance!
Deb
