SL with prision inmates?

Hello everyone,

At Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine we have a professor teaching a
class called Race, Gender, and Prisons.  All of her students are doing
various sorts projects working with the Department of Corrections and
inmates.  One group is  researching prison letter writing campaigns at
other colleges.  Do any of you have students who participate in such
programs?
