Several folks have written recently asking about At A Glance the
annotated
bibliography of service-learning research in higher ed between about
1993-2000.
This is the bibliography we distributed to everyone at the First Annual
Conference on Service-Learning Research at Berkeley in October. It was
supported by CNS and is available through the Clearinghouse.
It is also available in downloadable PDF form on the Campus Compact Web
Site. The URL is:

"Every time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to
improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he
sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million
different centers of energy and daring, these ripples build a current
that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and
resistance."
