Becky and SL colleagues--
I wanted to let you all know that Community Campus Partnerships for Health
(CCPH) has a training and technical assistance program called the Mentor
Network. The Mentor Network is comprised of leaders in the service-learning
and health professions fields who have extensive experience in
service-learning and the development of community campus partnerships. Our
mentors are available for on-campus workshops, community based workshops,
conference presentations, telephone consultations, keynote speeches, and/or
a customized training and technical assistance program designed to meet your
needs. Additional information and a sample list of speakers is available on
our website at http://www.futurehealth.ucsf.edu/ccph/mentor.html
Please note that CCPH Mentors are drawn from both community based
organizations and institutions of higher education. Leadership in the field
and a strong knowledge of service-learning and principles of community
campus parternships are the hallmarks of our Mentor Network consultants.
For more information regarding Community Campus Partnerships for Health
and/or the Mentor Network, feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Rachel

of service learning. We would like someone that could come to our campus for
at least a day of activities including one large public lecture for our
students, staff, faculty and the area community. We would also like to
schedule smaller sessions with university faculty who are interested in
hearing more about the concept of service-learning and ways of successfully
incorporating this into their course format.
