request for information on language of civic graduation standards
07 February 2002 16:40 UTC
Hi Everyone,
I have a request for information from someone whose college is
working on crafting
six "graduation standards" with the sixth related to lifelong civic
participation. They're still in the draft stages and would like to
see samples of what other colleges and systems have
done in this regard.
Does anyone know of campuses and systems that have adopted language
to the effect of "lifelong civic understanding and participation" as
part of identified graduation standards, outcomes, or competencies?
Do you have any examples?
I'd be happy to share any responses with the listserv.
Thanks for your help,
Jenn
