Excellent editorial.

On a different note, Paul Loeb's Soul of a Citizen book is
a must-read for anyone interested in service-learning.  I'm
currently using it in a freshman writing class, and the
stories and examples of community activism have
generated a lot of valuable discussion so far this
term.
