University of Notre Dame Path to Service Endeavor

>Hello everyone!

I am new to this list and was hoping you could help me out with a project 
we are working on right now.  My hope is to start a Spiritual and Community 
Wellness Program for the Finance Division at the University of Notre Dame 
which would entail getting my fellow employees involved in community 
service.  I have accumulated a great deal of research on the ideas of 
"social capital" and "paths to service," but still have a long way to go 
before I can create a mission statement and/or action plan.

I was wondering if you could give me some insight on other corporations or 
universities/colleges current activities in this field.  Benchmarking ideas 
would go far in my attempt to persuade others to get involved in this 
endeavor.  Any advice on good resources or foundation templates would be 
greatly appreciated.
