Re: Service Learning Program Development
24 December 1999 20:43 UTC
Vanderbilt University has a dormitory -- Mayfield -- which houses student
groups of ten in housekeeping units. Teams of students draft proposals for
projects they will undertake during the year -- these are usually
community service projects. The teams that are selected receive their room
for free during the school year. There is a GA who coordinates reflection
activities related to the projects. This service dorm is longstanding
tradition at Vanderbilt.
