do not want to read an early a.m. attempt at jocularity, service
learning style.

Dear Michael,  The other reason for such notes as Tony's in addition to
those  noted in my posting a few minutes ago  is the exposure to an
extended, explosive vocabulary.  Personally, I had never heard of
"ecblastesis" until Tony's  email.  I am trusting that through our
service  learning activities our students will experience one.
