Assessing service learning programs
04 December 1999 13:45 UTC
Hello everyone!
My college is currently undergoing the self-assessment phase
for accreditation, and one of the programs that must be examined
is our service-learning program. Does anyone have any experience
with working on accreditation self-assessment vis-a-vis
service learning? This would not be a major, in-depth sort of
analysis that requires extensive focus, but rather some basic
overview kinds of things about getting faculty and student
feedback about the program, etc.
I'd appreciate any sort of input on this that I can pass on
to that committee. (Oddly enough, even though I'm involved in
service-learning, I'm not on that assessment committee!)
Cheers!
Ray
