2004 GULF SOUTH SUMMIT

On behalf of Tulane University's Office of Service Learning and the

Planning Committee for the Gulf South Summit, we would like to invite you to

The 2nd Annual Gulf South Summit on Service Learning, Civic Engagement, and

Positive Youth Development in New Orleans, LA on March 24 - March 26, 2004.

 

Join the more than 250 service learning practitioners (higher education faculty, staff and administrators; K-12 teachers and administrators;

And community based organization representatives) expected to attend the

Summit at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown New Orleans on world famous Canal

Street.  

 

Keynote speakers for the Summit include: 

v      Scott Cowen, President, Tulane University

v      Andrew Furco, Director, University of California - Berkeley

      Service-Learning Research and Development Center

v      Sherril B. Gelmon, Professor of Public Health, Mark O. Hatfield School of Government, Portland State University

v      Elizabeth Hollander, Executive Director, Campus Compact
