Dear Colleagues:

I am writing a service-learning bulletin for our college volunteers, and while researching came across a statement that claimed:

Children who learn the value of giving at an early age become more involved citizens in their communities.

While the concept makes sense to me, I would love to provide some form of quantitative analysis (a study to cite, statistics, etc.) to include.  Do any of you have any insight about this?  Thanks so much.

Best,
Kim Jessup
