Faculty Rewards

Dear Collegues in Service Learning:
        We will initiate service learning this fall in our institution.  We
received a grant that will support faculty participation (incentive funds)
for the first year.  We are presently attempting to establish a model for
rewarding faculty for participation.  We will most likely use a 4 credits
for 3 credit course model.  My question is:  Do you reward faculty the
first time they teach a service learning course?  Each time they teach the
course?  Only when they integrate service learning into a new course?  Only
the first time they participate?  Your experience will be most helpful in
