I have just returned from the COOL conference in DC (we had a great time, by th
e way!) where I heard of a great idea. It was suggested that we have voter
registration information/applications available with course registration materi
als. Especially in this year of presidential election, I think this is an exce
llent way to promote citizenship. Has anyone done this at their school before?
What advice do you have? Is there anyone in particular that I should contact
first to make this happen (especially since many of our students are not from
Alabama or even Birmingham).
Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated!
