The Chronicle of Higher Education (March 1) wrote an article on Robert Putnam,
author of Bowling Alone. In this article they mentioned that he was going to
speak at the American Association for Higher Education this month on what we ca
n do about the problem of civic disengagement. Has anyone heard word from this
speech? Has he given it yet? If so, what did he say?
