To the list members:
I work with young women and men (18-23) who have decided to take a year
away from formal schooling to try out different types of experiences
(internships, community services, outdoor leadership, and/or honing of new
or existing skills in the arts, crafts or physical expression) I assist
them in finding those experiences keyed to their interests.
In the past I have found that placing this type of request to the list has
drawn out wonderful suggestions and conversations which my kids have utilized
in their search. If anyone on the list has suggestions of programs,
experiences or names of other people who I might contact I would very much
appreciate hearing from you.
