Marty - Greetings from Tennessee! I have had several requests from agencies
that could utilize math students. Examples: assisting elderly with income
tax returns, teaching workshops in residential facilities with elderly or
chronically mentally handicapped/ill on how to use and keep a checkbook and
then periodically returning to facilities as needed for balancing
assistance, statistical projects (ex: the Red Cross Blood Bank needed a
survey done concerning distance/donors/accessibility and then a statistical
compilation of the results). Just a few ideas. Good look.
