I've been asked to develop a 10 week leadership seminar for first year
scholarship recipients. The course will be (hopefully) highly
interactive, and will utilize some of the workshops done by the people at
Youth Service America (gentle plug...). The text will be Covey's "7
Habits...", and the students will be doing a Leadership Practicum the
semester following the seminar.
I am requesting information about two things:
1) Suggested readings regarding leadership development.
2) Organizations that support/promote/facilitate student leadership
development.
Although not specifically oriented toward service-learning, I could think
of no other more appropriate group to ask. Anything anyone could offer
would be greatly appreciated.
