Greetings!
I am writing to ask for assistance. I work with a grant-funded mentoring
program located within a small college. We work with college students who
mentor at-promise high school students who, in turn, mentor at-promise
junior high students. Youth develop positive relationships through
community service projects. At present we are extra curricular, though
there is a growing dialogue to build stronger connections to curriculum.
I am interested in obtaining information about preparation of youth for
service. Our mentors and proteges come from diverse backgrounds --
particularly socio-economic. I am also interested in the types of
instruments used pre- and post-service to measure impact.
