The Corporation for National Service is publishing an Internet technical
assistance/resource guide
-- The Internet Guide to National Service Networking --
which will be distributed to all AmeriCorps, Learn and Serve, and Senior
Corps programs next month. We are compiling the following information
(see 1 and 2 below) for the appendix.
Please forward your suggestions to me--

1) Web Resources -- A list of popular homepages visited by national
service programs, and a brief description of the services available at
that site.
2) Program Profiles/Success Stories/Testimonials -- Brief descriptions
(max. 250 words) about national service programs which are using Internet
communications technology in effective, innovative, and successful ways.
Especially looking for testimonials to how the Internet is saving the
program money. Also looking for examples in which national service
programs have developed successful public/private partnerships to help
fund and support the costs associated with getting on-line. Please
include a project contact person and phone number in your description.
Thanks, again for your help. It seemed only fitting that I would tap the
resources on the Internet and the Internet listservs in order to help
create The Internet Guide to National Service Networking!
