Job Opening - Executive Director

The Carver Promise, a collaborative program which places at-risk, urban
school children in long-term mentoring and tutoring relationships with
student mentors from Richmond, Virginia's four colleges, is seeking an
Executive Director. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or
comparable experience working with inner-city children. The candidate must
have demonstrated personal and professional characteristics necessary to
work effectively with students, teachers, mentors, volunteers, parents, and
local social service agencies and corporations. The candidate must also be
able to work effectively in a fundraising capacity, and to work with and
mobilize Board members. Salary negotiable.
