We are developing a directory of programs integrating service learning and
college composition. The directory will be included in a forthcoming monograph
on service learning in composition, part of a series on service learning in the
disciplines.
We invite you to submit 250-word descriptions of your service learning in
composition program for inclusion in this monograph. The deadline is SEPTEMBER
1, 1996.
Please include the following:
name of institution
contact person
email contact
address and phone number
Submissions could include a description of your program including program
goals, specific service-learning courses and goals for student writing, the
students for whom your courses are appropriate or to whom they are limited,
etc.; types of agencies or organizations with whom you are working, the ways
in which your courses and contacts are organized, and the like.
