I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola College, Maryland. I was previously on the faculty at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College.
I completed my Ph.D. in June 2000. Before beginning my doctoral studies, I attended University College Dublin, where I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Master of Management Science. I am also a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, having qualified with the Irish office of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1994. One of my most enjoyable experiences involved a secondment to the Manhattan office in New York city during 1993. I have also worked as a consultant to the United Nations International Trade Center in Geneva, Switzerland on a number of executive education programs using multimedia technology. As part of this undertaking, I was involved in a number of international field trips: Caracas, Venezuela (1992), Savannah, Georgia (1993), Geneva, Switzerland (1992, 1994, 1997) and Harare, Zimbabwe (1994). Some pictures taken during my trips around the globe are available for viewing here.
