KES2007: 10th International Conference on Knowledge-Based Intelligent
Information & Engineering Systems Call for Papers: Invited Session IS04 on "Recent Advances in Intelligent Decision Technologies" |
|
Topics The field of intelligent decision making is expanding rapidly due, in part, to advances in Artificial Intelligence and Network-centric environments that can deliver the technology. Networks and the Internet have integrated to enable communication and coordination between dispersed systems. At the same time, AI techniques have demonstrated that they have matured sufficiently for practical applications. Since many applications involve some type of decision, this session focuses on artificial intelligence techniques and applications that have the potential to improve decision making. Papers are encouraged that explore applications or advances in methods such as intelligent agents and neural networks that improve decision making. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Both theoretical papers and
papers describing practical experiences will be welcome. Please note that the required
paper length is eight pages in Springer format. Papers longer than this will
be subject to a penalty charge. Papers very much longer or shorter than the
required length may be rejected. To ensure high quality, all papers will be
thoroughly reviewed by the KES2007 Programme Committee.
All papers for KES2007 must be submitted in electronic form using the
software review system on the KES site at http://kes2007.kesinternational.org/proselogin.php All oral and poster papers
must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference
and pay the fee. Authors are not encouraged to submit multiple papers, and
authors will be restricted to one paper per registration. The Conference Proceedings will
be published and distributed by a major publisher, Springer-Verlag. Extended versions of selected papers will be
considered for publication in the International
