Invitation and Call for Papers

Special Issue: JOURNAL OF NETWORK AND COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Dear Colleagues,

We are in the process of editing a special issue on:

Innovations in Agent Collaboration, Cooperation and Teaming (Part 2)

for the JOURNAL OF NETWORK AND COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (JNCA)

published by Elsevier. We would like to invite you to submit a paper for the special issue of the journal. Extended abstracts are requested by December 10, 2004, to provide you with input as to the suitability of your proposed paper for the special issue.

Possible topics are collaboration or competition in multi-agent systems, privacy and security, conflict resolution, architectures to support agent teaming, technical design issues, applications and lessons learned, knowledge management, among others.

We will be pleased to consider your paper in the special issue subject to the recommendation of the reviewers. We are committed to a responsive review process and publication.

Tentative Timetable:

10 December 2004 Extended abstract to any of the guest editors (2-5 pages)

17 December 2004 Correspondence to the author(s) to proceed with full paper

15 February 2005 Receipt of draft papers

15 March 2005 Reviewer comments to the author(s)

15 April 2005 Revised paper due
